Yes, if you would like to search for an appointment, you must sign up for a free account.

How do I book an appointment online with DoctorDirect.com?

Sign in or create an account with Doctordirect.com. Search for a healthcare professional and click the appointment time that works best for you. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your appointment and that’s it! You will receive an instant email confirmation telling you that your appointment has been successfully booked.

How do I know if that my appointment is confirmed?

You will receive an instant email confirmation telling you that your appointment has been successfully booked. Unlike our competitors who do not provide instant confirmation, we offer you the peace of mind to know that you do not have to wait for your health care professional to call you in a few days to reconfirm. DoctorDirect.com is Canada’s leader of instant online bookings of medical appointments.

Will I get any reminders of my upcoming appointments?

Yes, of course. We will send a telephone, email and/or a SMS reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment.

When will I receive emails from my health care professional and DoctorDirect.com?

We send emails to confirmation upcoming appointments. We will never sell you email address to a third-party. You will not receive any spam mail from us!

I forgot my password. What can I do?

In the login page, at the bottom left or Password, you will a link called I forgot my password. It will bring you to a new page were you enter your username or email (if 2 people are using the same email address, it would be better to use the username). Once you click on the green button Submit, an email will be sent to you.

I do not remember my username. Where can I find it?

Why can’t I sign in to my account? My account is locked. How can I unlock it?

I know the name of the health care professional that I want to see. How can I find them?

First, login into your account online. Type your health care professional’s name in the search bar located at the top of the Patient Dashboard page.

Why can’t I instantly book appointment online with certain health care professionals?

Instant online booking is available only for health care professionals that have open availabilities. Some health care professional may not have available appointments online at this time. Please contact the health care professional directly for more information.

How many days in advance are appointments available?

That depends on the health care professional’s schedule. Some health care professionals may release last-minute appointments while others may release them a month in advance. Use the advanced search to find a health care professional for a specific time period.

Can I book an appointment for friends and/or family members on my account?

No. Your friends and family members must create their own accounts in order to book an appointment online.

Why do I have to provide my phone number while booking my appointment?

We will send you a phone call reminder 48 hours prior to your upcoming appointment.

Do I need to give my credit card number to book an appointment?

It depends. Certain appointments require a credit card but your health care professional will take care of billing. Please contact your health care professional for more information regarding their billing policies.

What are your cancellation and no-show policies?

Our health care professionals recommend that you cancel your appointments through your account at least 24 hours in advance. Certain health care professionals may charge a cancellation or no-show fee; please contact your health care professional for more information regarding cancellation and billing policies.

My healthcare professional just cancelled my appointment. What do I do?

Once you receive a telephone reminder of cancellation or email, please go online and reschedule.
